San Jose/Bay Area Dog Socialization Events

For puppies under 18 weeks of age at different days and times in San Francisco. Bring your puppy to play with other puppies and let your puppy learn polite play skills and appropriate dog body language with the help of our highly professional trainers. Meet other puppy parents and let your puppy burn out some energy while getting an important positive socialization experience. You want a dog with good social skills? One who knows how to get on with her fellow four-legged compatriots, plays politely and is always welcome around other dogs. Join us for trainer-supervised play and learning. Your puppy learns to communicate with other dogs, and you learn what your puppy is telling you. We also bring in well-socialized adult dogs to interact with the puppies to help learn good grown-up manners. $30 for forty-five minute play & learn session. Puppies get to play and interact with each other indoors and meet other people, explore a variety of objects, surfaces and sounds. Puppies must be 16 weeks or younger to attend their first social and have had their first set of shots. Only one human per dog allowed inside if we have 6 pups. You can switch off during the session. Please we all need to keep wearing our masks and keep our distance and sanitize our hands before and after and in between.

Join Puppies in the Park! This class is for pups approximately ages 10-20 weeks & under 20 pounds. These single-day events are held in the Marin Humane Parks. You and your dog will learn how to play with other dogs, how to interact with new environmental objects, and how to play with YOU. At least 2 sets of distemper/parvo shots are required (please confirm before signing up!) Please only sign up for one Puppies in the Park class per day. Each class is 45 minutes long for $25.  Classes will be held for mild weather (sprinkles for example).  When available, classes will be moved indoors for more severe weather.  Your instructor will email the morning of the class to indicate the status of the class! Bring your new puppies to K9 Keep Fit for a weekly socialization class. Your puppy will learn the social queues [sic] of puppy etiquette and you can get answers to some of the toughest puppy raising questions.  12 weeks to 10 months of age.
