San Jose/Bay Area Dog Socialization Events

Got Fun? We do! PETS is a new type of social. During this one-hour puppy social your puppy will be exposed to multiple new and different sights, sounds and surfaces. All first-timers must attend a Level 1 session — no exceptions. This is a safe place where your puppy can build its confidence in approaching new and unfamiliar situations.  Your puppy will be able to socialized with other puppies and will be able to refine their play skills, their social skills and bite inhibition.

10am – Level 1: first timers and shy or small (generally puppies under 30lbs); 10:45am: Level 2 Beginner (graduates of Level 1, not-shy puppies over 30lbs); 11:30am: Level 3 Kinder (invite only); 12:15pm:  Level 4 – Teen (invite only); 1pm: Level 5 Big and brave (invite only);  RSVP required.

Requirements: Your puppy must be under 18 weeks of age or currently enrolled in Puppy 1 class when they attend their first social, then they can continue to come as long as they remain friendly and social. Bring proof of vaccinations with you to your first social. There must be an adult 18 years or older present at all times. Cost: $20 each. Pre-registration required during Covid-19. In this “Day Camp” for pups, your puppy will get light training, play and positive associations with new people, sounds, sights and objects. Ages: 8 weeks-9 months old. 1 hour $30.00.  For more information and to register see tailoreddogtraining.as.me.

Puppies get to play and interact with each other indoors and meet other people, explore a variety of objects, surfaces and sounds. Puppies must be 16 weeks or younger to attend their first social and have had their first set of shots. Only one human per dog allowed inside if we have 6 pups. You can switch off during the session.

Supervised playtime with an instructor. Puppies learn great boundaries and play with dogs of all sizes, ages and breeds. Puppy socials help them grow into a confident puppy ready to enter adolescence. Socials are hosted indoors at our training center with over 700 square feet of air conditioned and padded flooring for their comfort.  Our puppy socials are specifically designed to provide your puppy the enrichment and socialization he/she requires with other puppies. The socials are supervised and we provide education about dog play and interactions. Our focus is to allow healthy and safe play amongst puppy peers.

Join us for playtime in Puppy Playgroup. This is a great opportunity for friendly puppies (ages 4-8 months, fully vaccinated and social) and their owners to enjoy some off-leash fun! We will have the agility equipment available, refreshments, and toys for play. This event is limited to six puppies on a first-come, first-served basis, so sign up in advance!  Prerequisites: Orientation or Playgroup Evaluation, Current vaccination records on file with Zoom Room (Rabies, Bordetella & DHPP required). Some of the agility equipment and toys are at your disposal, great music and free fair trade coffee. Playgroup is off-leash for up to six dogs. Best of all, one of our trainers is always present to offer tips on socialization, interactions, and to answer any questions. However, this is NOT a training session. This is for already socialized dogs. Dogs attending must be approved by a trainer in a group class. Dogs must be over eight months and must be neutered or spayed to attend any playgroup.
