Pomeranian Playtime

Carmel Dachshunds Walk
On the first and third Saturday of every month Dachshunds and their owners meet at 11:00am and then start the walk at 11:30 down to the beach and back up. Meet up on the second Saturday of every month at the Fort Funston parking lot, San Francisco.
Bulldog Day at The Park
The dog park event is the third Saturday of every month. French and English Bullies are invited to play at the park! All bulldog owners are invited to join a bulldog day at the park the third Saturday of each month. The Las Palmas dog park is a gated dog park with a huge area for dogs and their owners. Please bring all your bullies each month (weather permitting of course) for a day of fun and a lot of bulldogs! For more information contact Michelle Moore, at myshell781@yahoo.com.
Paws on the Monument
Join BirchBark Foundation and the Bureau of Land Management for a community dog walk on the Fort Ord National Monument. Park Ranger, Tammy Jakl will be on hand occasionally to answer questions and walk with us. We will meet at the Creekside Terrace Trailhead (just off Highway 68 near the intersection of Portola and Reservation Road). The walk will loop through Fort Ord’s north-eastern border and there will be a 1, 2 or 3 mile option. Walks are the first Sunday of the month, July – October. The first 20 walkers will receive their choice of a BirchBark Foundation portable pet food dish or BirchBark bandana for your pooch. Don’t forget to start your WoofTrax when you walk! SVACA Adoption Event
Every second Sunday of the month SVACA holds an offsite adoption event from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at Pet Food Express in San Jose at 5148 Stevens Creek Blvd. For more information contact Silicon Valley Animal Control Authority at 408-764-0344 or staff@svaca.com.
