In honor of all of our friends with fur, feathers or fins who we have said farewell to, author Deborah Barnes has created Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day. Choosing August 28th in memory of the day in 2013 when she said goodbye to her pal Mr. Jazz, Barnes has set up a special Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day event page on Facebook so pet parents can gather in the virtual world to celebrate the life of their late pet by posting a photo or poem.
