The Kiwanis Club presents their Annual Pet Parade. For over 60 years (starting in 1947, five years before Los Altos was incorporated as a city), the Los Altos Kiwanis Club has produced the Annual Kiwanis Pet Parade. From rather simple beginnings, the Kiwanis Pet Parade has evolved into the city’s most renowned civic event – a spring celebration that attracts thousands of kids, along with their pets of all kinds, wagons, bicycles, parents and neighbors, as well as bands and other community groups. Absolutely no commercial or political promotions; nothing distributed to the crowds; foot power only (exceptions can be arranged); groups are encouraged to identify themselves with a banner or signs (non-commercial). For more information, contact Randall Hull, Kiwanis Pet Parade Chairman at (650) 559-1914 or randallhull@losaltoskiwanis.org, or see the website at losaltoskiwanis.org.
